My thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge deerhounds at their open show, with the help from my stewards.
All the hounds were presented in good condition and were well handled. What a fabulous entry, I would like to thank everybody who supported me. Many thanks to Glenis and Micks hospitality afterwards for feeding all of us. It a was great atmosphere, and very much appreciated.

Lovely class of some very raw babies.
1st Peach Kilbourne Lloyd
Very calm dog puppy of just 7 months. Liked the look of him as soon as he entered the ring. Dark eyes with soft expression, neat dark ears. Correct bite. Good bone, tight knuckled feet. Lovely reach of neck, with correct shoulder placement. Good angulation front and rear. Nice length from hip to hock. Very well balanced movement for one so young. Will watch his progress with interest. BPIB.

Well bodied dark coated bitch. Substantial bone. Dark ears & eyes, correct bite. Neck well set into shoulder. Good angulation with depth of brisket and width behind. Correct topline. Good reach of movement. Feet need to tighten.

1st Peach Blixten Star To Kilbourne
Elegant shapely bitch, with typical head & expression. Dark ears & eyes. Neck well set into good lay of shoulder. Deep brisket and spring of rib. Good angulation front & rear. Movement was light and flowing despite being down on her pasterns today. Pushed hard for BOB. Well deserved RBOB.

1st Peach Kilbourne Max
Masculine head & expression. Dark eyes, neatest of ears. Correct bite. Tight knuckled feet. Harsh coat. Good reach of neck leading to correct lay of shoulder. Pleasing outline, moved out well. A little slack in his pasterns.

Pretty feminine shapely bitch. Curves in the right places. Typical head & expression. Darkest of eyes with that far away look. Good tight feet. Well placed shoulder and upper arm. Good angulation front & rear. Great depth of brisket with spring of rib. Correct topline. Lovely profile. Balanced flowing movement. BOB.
